Terms of Service
Last updated June 3, 2026
Beacon Grove Bookkeeping is a ZOAK Consolidated LLC company.
These terms are general website and service terms for Beacon Grove Bookkeeping. A separate written engagement, proposal, or service agreement may apply when you become a client.
Use of This Website
You may use this website to learn about our services and contact us. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access to any system.
Bookkeeping Services
Service scope, fees, timing, cancellation terms, and deliverables are confirmed in writing. Monthly bookkeeping may include transaction categorization, reconciliations, receipt management, monthly reports, and advisory support. Cleanup, catch-up, payroll coordination, sales tax coordination, or custom reporting may require separate scope approval.
Pricing and Cancellation
Monthly bookkeeping starts at $399 per month. Promotional offers, including a first month free offer, may be limited to eligible new clients and may require a completed onboarding process. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, there is no long-term contract and either party may cancel future monthly service with written notice.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information, including receipts, invoices, bank access, account statements, payroll summaries, merchant reports, and other records needed for the agreed services. Clients remain responsible for reviewing reports, approving business decisions, maintaining official records, and informing us promptly about unusual transactions, business changes, notices, audits, tax filings, or compliance deadlines. We are not responsible for delays, errors, penalties, or incomplete work caused by missing, late, inaccurate, or unauthorized records.
Financial Account Access
If you connect accounts through Plaid or another authorized platform, you are responsible for confirming that you have authority to grant that access. If a financial institution is not supported, you may need to upload statements or transaction files manually. You should not send banking passwords, one-time passcodes, or sensitive credentials by ordinary email.
Reports and Decisions
Reports and notes are prepared from records available to us and are intended to help business owners understand bookkeeping activity. They are not a guarantee that all records are complete, that every transaction is tax-deductible, or that financial statements comply with audit, lending, tax, or regulatory requirements unless specifically agreed in writing.
No Tax or Legal Advice
Unless specifically agreed in writing, our services do not include legal, tax, investment, or audit advice. We may help organize books and provide information that supports your tax preparer, attorney, lender, or other advisor, but you should consult qualified professionals for those matters.
Confidentiality
We treat client business records as confidential and use them only to provide services, administer our relationship, comply with law, or work with client-approved vendors and advisors. Clients should also protect access credentials, upload links, reports, and shared files.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Beacon Grove Bookkeeping is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including lost profits, business interruption, penalties, or lost data. Any direct liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service period unless a separate written agreement requires a different result.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the website or services after updates means you accept the updated terms.
